"The Dam Keeper," an animated short directed by Robert Kondo and Dice Tsutsumi, tells the tale of Pig, an unlikely hero with a heavy burden.
Pixar animators by day (they'd worked on Monsters University and Toy Story 3), Robert and Dice created The Dam Keeper in their spare time with the help of 70 volunteers. To bring this story to life, they needed an easy way for their extended group to collaborate and share content rich files.
Box became their film virtual studio, used to review and approve the 21,600 frames it took create this beautiful 18-minute film. The story of their creation and collaboration is in the video below. You can also watch The Dam Keeper Trailer, or catch it at upcoming film festivals.
Congrats to Robert and Dice on their beautiful film.
