Whether you're reviewing a team member's presentation, sharing files across departments, or collaborating with outside contractors, we think its important that you have easy access to all your content across business applications. Today, we're excited to share that Box is now integrated with the newest version of SugarCRM (v6.0), bringing our content management and collaboration capabilities to SugarCRM customers.
By connecting Box with the SugarCRM platform, we're making it easy for users to share, access and collaborate on all their content directly within SugarCRM. Since SugarCRM is used primarily by sales and marketing departments, this means that employees can now share files like training videos, product datasheets and customer agreements across teams, as well as ensure that sales associates have the latest content to share with prospects and customers. Users can even set up shared workspaces to collaborate with contractors outside their SugarCRM deployment.
Accessing Box from within SugarCRM is easy. Clicking the Box shortcut on SugarCRM's brand new Shortcut Bar will pop open a Box widget, or customers can access Box from a dashlet on the SugarCRM homepage. Businesses can connect SugarCRM accounts to Box by visiting the Box listing on the SugarExchange marketplace.
We'll be demoing this integration at SugarCon this week, so if you're at the conference, please swing by booth #308 to say hi and take a quick look. Additionally, Box CEO Aaron Levie will be giving a presentation on "How Connecting Clouds Will Fuel the Cloud Tornado" at SugarCon on Wednesday, April 14. He'll talk about how the cloud is changing the way we do business, and "connected clouds" are the future of enterprise software. We think today's integration with SugarCRM is a pretty cool example of this.
