For the first time this year, we held Developer Day at BoxWorks, and we couldn't be more pleased about the fantastic people who attended, gave presentations and generally made the day a rousing success. Our speakers ran the gamut from entrepreneurs, like Des Traynor of Intercom.io, to execs from some of our biggest customers, like Mike Kail, VP of IT at Netflix. They covered topics ranging from what enterprises look for in Box’s partner apps to how best to design your app and integrate the Box API.
We also brought some of our own experts, including the Box mobile team, who offered some insights into best practices for building apps for the enterprise. Some of our API experts gave in-depth presentations on features like Instant Mode and Webhooks, and our designers, developers and marketers worked at Startup Camp, where they consulted with developers and entrepreneurs on the relevant areas of their businesses.
There were some big announcements, including 100 new OneCloud partners, which cover a whole host of mobile needs and use cases for our enterprise customers, and Box Embed, which makes seamlessly integrating Box even easier.
Developer Day was a big moment for those of us here on the platform team, but rest assured, next year’s event will be even bigger. I hope you’re looking forward to it, because we certainly are!
With that, I'll leave you with part of the Boxworks day two keynote, featuring our VP of Platform, Chris Yeh.
