Our team is always interested in engaging with Silicon Valley's talented and diverse developer community, which is why we've begun hosting periodic tech talks at Box HQ. It's a great way for us to get in touch with the community while also providing a space for developers to network, learn and eat free pizza. At our last meetup, 2 developers discussed TokBox's new OpenTok API, while Box's mobile developer, Michael Smith, discussed the intricacies and challenges of developing enterprise applications for the Android. Check out how packed our lunchroom was:
Tomorrow, we're set to host another meetup - this time, Sebastian Stadil from Scalr will advise developers on how to create and manage dynamic infrastructures and web applications in the cloud. To get more information and register, visit our meetup page. If you can't make it to Box HQ tomorrow, remember that you can also follow along by viewing the livestream or on Twitter with the hashtag #svccg. We plan on hosting meetups on a regular basis in the future, so be sure to check out the Box HQ meetup page frequently for updates on upcoming developer tech talks. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
