The #BoxWorks Top 5

BoxWorks is in full swing, with customers learning how to turbocharge their Box deployment in breakout sessions, presentations and panels. This morning, our CEO – along with some of our friends from Salesforce, Motorola, and HP – provided the keynote, which detailed the newest additions to Box and gave a sneak peek at some of our upcoming features. Check out our handy list below for a quick look at the biggest news to come out of BoxWorks.

Box Sync for All

We think everyone should be able to easily connect all their content, which is why sync has been part of the Box feature library for just over a year. Today, we launched the first-ever cross-platform sync for the enterprise; now businesses everywhere – whether they prefer PC or Mac – can effortlessly connect all their important content to the cloud. The best part: We're rolling it out today. Just head over to to sign up.

Upcoming Social Features

During the keynote, our CEO offered a glimpse at some of the big ideas we have in the works to make your Box experience more social than ever. Over the next few months, be on the lookout for new ways to comment, add tasks and "tag" users. We believe business software should be as social as all the other web tools you already use, and we're working on ways to make your content smarter, more social and above all, more powerful.

Security Upgrades

We know security is a big deal, and that's why we're rolling out a number of major enhancements over the next few months to put you – and your IT department – at ease.  For example, our new "trusted access" feature will give you complete control over who has access to your content. With just the click of a mouse, you'll be able to configure which devices, applications, and even browsers can connect to your account.

Chatter Integration

If you've been following us for a while, you know we're big on integrations. Our latest will make the enterprise more social by allowing you to collaborate in Chatter with your Box content, making  it easier than ever to share  information between the two services. You'll be collaborating with colleagues and customers in no time – and you wont even have to leave your Chatter account to do it.

Our friends from HP and Motorola took the stage for two major reveals: In the near future, Box will come pre-loaded on both Motorola Xoom tablets and HP business PCs. We're crazy excited about this partnership (and of course, getting more people to use Box), so be on the lookout for more news around this in the coming months.
