A study on the digitisation of office and administrative processes in German organisations
In the digital office, processes are automated, location-independent and seamless. But what is the status quo of the digital office in German organisations? And what has changed compared to 2016 and 2018?
The COVID-19 pandemic has shown the distinct relevance of the Digital Office. In the past months, it has become the epitome for working capacity and collaboration within organisations. During this unique moment in time, the survey period from May to June 2020 has provided a unique insight into the organisations’ response to:

In this study, you will find answers to the questions:
- Are companies open to the topic of digitisation and where are the investments?
- Where are digital office solutions largely operated?
- Which company processes and which industries see a need for investment?
More than 1,100 companies in all industries with more than 20 employees were surveyed for this study. The survey is thus representative of the economy as a whole.
